The small town of Tofino, which is situated on the the edge of the Pacific Rim National Park, is world renowned for its beaches, surf breaks, fishing and artisans. This place truly represents west coast life. Diving in Tofino is great all year-round: visibility averages 30-40 feet, but when diving during the winter and early spring it can reach 80+ ft. Similarly to the rest of British Columbia these waters are affected by the rise of  temperature during the summer months, causing the kelp and algae to bloom.
